My name is Lamar and I am a proud Palestinian - American - Texan, therefore, I know what it is like to live in a diverse environment, share cultures, and learn to be a good neighbor. Growing up in Texas, you learn to respect all cultures and ethnicities, given we only live a few hours from Mexico and live in a culture that has blended with our southern neighbor. The idea of F The Wall took place when we started noticing how immigrants from our southern border were being denied asylum, and if brought over, shoved into confined, inhumane detention centers. The United States we once knew and loved is slowly being destroyed and stripped of its core beliefs, and by everyone speaking up against this cruel injustice, we can together as a nation, restore the United States we once knew.

My name is Ammer Qaddumi, and I identify as a Palestinian - Texan - Muslim. In my 16 years of living on this Earth, I've been fortunate enough to travel to destinations all over the world, and each place I've been to has had a  culture of it own that made it unique. In traveling, I've had the opportunity to broaden my understanding of the world and become more open minded about different cultures. So when I return to the States and hear about rampant racism against minorities because they're "different," I feel motivated to encourage coexistence. To accomplish this we must build bridges, and not walls, and work towards a future where we try to understand each other's differences, instead of being afraid of them.

Living in the United States, we know what it is like to live among people who chose not to acknowledge their neighbors, and instead block them off with walls and call them “bad hombres.”  F The Wall was created to counteract those people.  We’re here to peacefully protest those who chose to be bad neighbors, people who want to build walls instead of building friendships.  By wearing these shirts, you are joining the movement to help our country and its citizens to be good neighbors.
